Training Procrastination for UW Students
Welcome Point invites University of Warsaw long-time students to join a training Procrastination for UW Students.
The training will take place on 9th March, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, on Faculty of Modern Languages.
This workshop will help students:
- to explore what kind of situations are triggering stress for them,
- how to recognize stress early, what the triggers are and how to reduce stress level;
- find the tools of self-awareness and organize themselves better;
- the training includes the elements of confidence boosting, self- and time management.

Dear Students,
we kindly inform you that there may be traffic difficulties in Warsaw on February 21-22 due to the visit of the President of the United States. We kindly ask you to take this fact into account when planning your arrival to the Faculty.
Classes at the Faculty of Economic Sciences on these days are held without change, on-site, according to the official schedule.

New course in the elective offer: "Technology acceptance model - practical applications"
We cordially invite students of the Data Science and Business Analytics Program to familiarize themselves with the new course in the elective offer: "Technology acceptance model - practical applications", led and coordinated by visiting professor Rana Umair Ashraf.
The course's main objective is to help students understand and acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to develop and evaluate technology acceptance research models. The course will present the two most commonly used models: the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT).
Registration for the course is open until January 30, 2023.

Organisation of classes during the Christmas and New Year time
Dear Students,
We would like to kindly inform you that in accordance with the Order No. 9/2022 of the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs of WNE UW, on Thursday, 22 December 2022, classes at the Faculty of Economic Sciences will be held according to the Friday schedule.
In summary: Dean's hours (free from classes) have been introduced at the WNE on 21 December from 3 p.m., the Friday schedule will be implemented on 22 December, while the winter holidays at the University of Warsaw will run from 23 December 2022 to 8 January 2023.
