Conferences and seminars
The Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, is the organiser of numerous prestigious conferences, seminars, and workshops. Some of the Faculty’s events are held regularly, in partnership with national and international institutions.
We sincerely encourage collaboration in the events organised by the Faculty’s researchers, who specialise in broadly understood economic sciences, encompassing both classical and modern aspects of economics and finance.
Upcoming events
21st edition of the WIEM Conference took place at the Faculty of Economic Sciences UW. The keynote lecture was delivered by Prof. Oded Galor.
During the seminar, prof. Romain Lestage presented a lecture “Strategic Disclosure to Rivals and Suppliers with Endogenous Screening.
Prof. Salma Tber (International University of Rabat) delivered a lecture titled “Universities and territories, from geographical to institutional proximity: The perspective of complex network mapping”
Seminar "Charging the Elephant in the Room: EV Incentives, Market Power, and Externalities" was led by prof. Mateusz Myśliwski.
