Conferences and seminars
The Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, is the organiser of numerous prestigious conferences, seminars, and workshops. Some of the Faculty’s events are held regularly, in partnership with national and international institutions.
We sincerely encourage collaboration in the events organised by the Faculty’s researchers, who specialise in broadly understood economic sciences, encompassing both classical and modern aspects of economics and finance.
Upcoming events
Professor Jabłecki will present a study titled „From Theory to Practice: Polish Equity Risk Factors and Their Implementation Costs”. We cordially invite you to attend the seminar at 17:30 in Room B002 or to join the meeting remotely.
The speaker, from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, will present a study titled „Exclusionary Government Rhetoric and Migration Intentions”. We warmly invite you to attend the seminar at 17:00 in Room A203 or join remotely.
Lecture titled „Recurrent neural architectures for nonlinear volatility modelling” will be delivered on May 12, 2025, at 18:30. The event will be held both in Room B002 and remotely.
In light of the tragic event at the University of Warsaw, we regret to inform you that tomorrow’s seminar (May 8, 2025), featuring Professor Yaniv Hanoch, has been cancelled. We will announce a new date for the event in due course.
