70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economic Sciences

In 2023, we celebrated the 70th anniversary since the University of Warsaw first welcomed students to the Faculty of Economic Sciences, marking the beginning of our Faculty’s history. This anniversary serves as a significant moment for the Faculty community—one that encourages reflection, evaluation, and recollection. Currently, the Faculty of Economic Sciences stands as Poland's leading economic research institution and is ranked among the top 3% of economic research units worldwide. Our researchers are involved in over sixty national and international projects, funded by organizations such as the European Union, the National Science Centre, and the National Centre for Research and Development. The Faculty also hosts prestigious, recurring conferences.

The curricula offered by the Faculty are consistently ranked among the best in national rankings and recognized in the accreditation process conducted by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
