2nd Modern Finance Conference

The event aims to provide a platform for the exchange of research experiences, dissemination of cutting-edge research results, innovative ideas and new approaches in all areas of finance. The conference was organized by the Modern Finance Institute, Poznań University of Economics and Business, and the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. The first edition gathered over 150 participants from 36 countries, who listened to a total of 130 papers.

During the second edition, the keynote address was delivered by Professor Iftekhar Hassan from the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Additionally, a workshop on publishing in top academic journals was hosted by Professor Peter G. Szilagyi from EDHEC Business School.

The conference took place on September 7-9, 2025, and was organized in a hybrid format, allowing both on-site and remote participation.
