A keynote lecture during the seminar titled "Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Profit Shifting: Science for Economic Policy" was delivered by Dr. Łukasz Marć (World Bank in Bucharest). The topic addressed was "Technology Adoption, Innovation, and Productivity in Light of International Experience." Dr. hab. Krzysztof Szczygielski, Prof. ucz. summarized the research project "Monitoring Business Innovation Activity and Regulatory Impact Assessment in Support of Economic Policy." As a reminder, the goal of the project was to develop tools to monitor company innovation activities and evaluate the impact of regulations on innovativeness, including the R&D tax relief and the IP Box tax incentive.

The seminar also included a debate moderated by journalist Patrycjusz Wyżga. The panel discussion featured Dr. hab. Anna Białek-Jaworska, Prof. ucz. and Dr. hab. Krzysztof Szczygielski, Prof. ucz. (Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw), the aforementioned Dr. Łukasz Marć (World Bank), Dr. Jakub Sawulski, Deputy Director of the Strategy Department at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, as well as Łukasz Kuśmierz, Deputy Director of the Income Taxes Department at the Ministry of Finance. The discussion covered topics related to innovation policy instruments, their benefits, and associated legislative challenges.
