INFORMATION MEETING for incoming student (SPRING 2023/2024)

Dear students, we would like to invite to information meeting regarding studing at our Faculty, registration for courses and other issues.

The meeting will be hold in room C in building C (at our Faculty) on 21st of Feb. 2024 at 9:45 till 11:15.

REGSTRAION PERIOD IS CLOSED NOW!

On 7th of Feb. we closed possibility to be registered for our Faculty's course.

Now next possibility to do some changes in USOS Web will be from 19th of Feb. till 3rd of March 2024.
This first two weekes of the spring semester are for you to decide if you want to deregister, change group or maybe be added to some new courses.
Please contact as rules below within the period of 19.02.-3.03.2024 with what change you would like to do and I will check if it would be possible.

After 3.03.2024 NO CHANGE IN USOS WOULD BE POSSIBLE, SO PLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT YOUR REGISTRETION REQUESTS AND CONTACT WITHIN THE DEADLINE!

Here are some useful tips and information how to navigate during registration time and in general:

- Faculty’s website with academic calendar:
In the academic calendar you will find some important information such as examination period. Please explore the website.

- Here you can find courses from our University and Faculty (course search engine):

Faculty of Economic Sciences’ courses starts with 2400-… .

- Registration for courses at FoES UW:
Registration is manual via FoES ERASMUS+ Office.
If you want to be register please send an email to |3#y]0fjMAl@iV=n4IBqTm6'\]#[py{fA#`YA&NWaEzw*AKW5cCsI from <name>@student.uw.edu.pl (this is your UW’s email address) between 1-7.02.2024.

Message should contain below information:
1. “I would like to be register for:…”;
2. Course name + course code;
3. If a course is lecture and classes you have to be register for both - add class group number to the message so I will know which one you would like to join. It’s important because since lecture is usually just one group, for classes sometimes there is even five or more groups.
4. Always add your full name and student ID number to emails – example: K-12345.

Emails send from your personal email boxes such as @gamil or other from your home University, will not be consider.

Example for an email with registration request:
“Hello,

I would like to be register for:
1. 2400-DS2AF Applied Finance: lecture + class group number 4.

Name, K-12345”

- Since you will join our regular courses (there is no courses at our Faculty dedicated for ERASMUS+ students) our regular students has priority in registration so if the group will be full, there will be no chance to be added over the limit. Also there is no possibility to be added  to thesis seminar courses. Those are for regular students who will finish studies with thesis project.

During first two weeks of a new semester (19.02-01.03.2024) you will be able to contact with request to be unregister from a course or to change a group. Please follow steps as above with the way of reaching with me.
