Working Papers
Każdy dokument zachowuje pełne prawa autorskie swoich twórców, a w przypadku późniejszych zmian, autorzy mogą w dowolnym momencie zamieścić zaktualizowany plik lub wskazać miejsce ostatecznego wydania.

WP(11/2022)387. The effect of decentralization of government power on the character of public goods provision
What are the institutional drivers of public goods provision? What do we know about the impact of concentration of power on their distribution? The current literature proves the relevance of the allocation of public goods, mostly in the context of ec…
WP(9/2021)357. Are Transboundary Nature Protected Areas International Public Goods and Why People Think They Are (Not)? Hybrid Modelling Evidence from the EU Outer Borders
Former studies have shown that transboundary nature protected areas are not perceived as pure international public goods by citizens in neighbouring countries that share national parks. In this study, we assess what drives the valuation of nature pro…
WP(20/2016)211. Information and Learning in Stated-Preference Studies
We use experimental variation to influence how people learn a given amount of objective, scientific information about an unfamiliar public good. We then estimate the impact of treatment on valuations for that good in a stated preference survey. Our m…
WP(26/2015)174. "Thou shalt not leech" Are digital pirates conditional cooperators?
In this project we investigate willingness to share and download cultural content by implementing a novel "piracy game" modelled after standard public good games. Subjects' decisions have real consequence, as they are rewarded with indi…
WP(6/2012)72. Testing game theory without the social preference confound
We propose an experimental method whose purpose is to induce selfish behavior in games for a broad class of social preferences. It provides a theoretical framework for testing game theoretical predictions by confronting subjects with a commonly known…
