Seria jest realizowana w ramach projektu „Tandemy dla Doskonałości”. The lecture is based on a recent policy report written for the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis. Martin Andersson will discuss the logic of vertical as well as horizontal growth policies, what we know of their impact on firms and economy-wide growth, as well as challenges associated with evaluations. Examples of that are adressed: Can and should all policy initiatives in the area of growth policy be evaluated? Do policy interventions that target areas/goals with uncertain outcomes and long-term effects — such as innovation policies, system improvements and societal transformation — require different methods and approaches to evaluation?
