Macroeconomics and Theory of Foreign Trade

Scientific and research activities

The research activity of the Department of Macroeconomics and Foreign Trade Theory is carried out in the following areas of scientific and research work

  • macroeconomics, in particular the macroeconomics of an open economy
  • macroeconomic stabilization policy, including issues of unemployment and inflation
  • international capital markets, financial institutions and foreign investment
  • trade policy and competitiveness of the Polish economy, processes of integrating the Polish economy with the world economy within the WTO and the European Union
  • international trade in services

The Department carries out scientific and research work for national projects financed, among others, by the National Science Centre, as well as those based on European Union funds.
