Statistics and Econometrics

Scientific and research activities

The scientific and research activity of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics is carried out in the areas of:

  • econometric models of the national economy,
  • financial mathematics,
  • insurance models,
  • consumption models, 
  • econometric models of family budget analysis,
  • financial market modelling.

Scientific research work (on grants) is carried out by the Department for national projects which are financed, inter alia, by the National Science Centre (NCN) as well as those funded by the European Union.
