The Family Campus UW
Information about the project
The Family Campus UW is a project carried out by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw under the "Socially Responsible" Program, with financial support from the Totalizator Sportowy Foundation.
The primary goal of the project is to promote social integration among children and adults, as well as to develop skills valuable in the labor market—both for Poles and foreigners (particularly Ukrainian citizens) residing in Warsaw and nearby towns. An additional objective of the project is to create and pilot gamification as an innovative educational tool aimed at children and adolescents. The project includes 15-hour in-person courses.
We cordially invite Polish and foreign families from Warsaw and the surrounding areas to participate in educational and integrative activities at the University of Warsaw. The meetings will take place at the UW building on Dobra 55 Street in Warsaw. We prioritize inviting families—at least one adult and one child aged 9-15 years old.

For the Younger Participants Children can take part in interdisciplinary courses prepared in a gamification format. During the classes, participants undertake a mission in a mysterious land while learning about economics, mathematics, geography, critical thinking, and English. We conduct courses in mixed groups—half of the group consists of Polish children, and the other half of foreign children. We get to know each other, collaborate to achieve common goals, and have fun together. We organize in-person classes for two age groups: 9-12 years and 13-15 years. Each course consists of five sessions, each lasting three academic hours. |

For the Older Participants Once parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles leave their children in the hands of experienced animators and trainers, they can participate in parallel language courses: Polish, Ukrainian, and English. We invite adults to participate in in-person language courses. Each course consists of five sessions, each lasting three academic hours. |
