Events dedicated to the economic analysis of law – summary
September at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw was marked by scientific events devoted, among other topics, to issues in the economic analysis of law.
The first of these was the CEAPS seminar, which brought together distinguished European scholars specializing in economics, legal studies, and political science.
Similarly, in September the University of Warsaw – jointly with the SGH Warsaw School of Economics - welcomed participants of the international EALE (European Association of Law and Economics) conference. On 17-18 September, nearly 100 researchers presented their papers, representing institutions such as Colgate University, University of Lüneburg, Walter Eucken Institut, University of Southern California, and the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE.
A large group of academic staff from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, contributed to the organization of the conference – we sincerely thank them for their time and scholarly engagement. Both events were coordinated by Dr. hab. Katarzyna Metelska‑Szaniawska, Prof. UW (Department of Political Economy). Congratulations on the initiative.
We invite you to view a short photographic report. The photos from the EALE conference were taken by Mirosław Kaźmierczak.
