Conference European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) at the University of Warsaw in September
A joint conference organised by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics, dedicated to the economic analysis of law, will take place in Warsaw in September. The 43rd edition of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) is scheduled for 17-18 September this year.
Nearly 100 presentations will be given by researchers from institutions around the world, covering the fields of law and economics. The programme also includes two keynote lectures, to be delivered by renowned experts:
- Prof. W. Bentley MacLeod (Columbia University) – former president of the American Law and Economics Association, whose research focuses on labour economics, with particular emphasis on organisational economics
- and Prof. Maciej Szpunar (University of Silesia in Katowice) – Advocate General at the European Court of Justice; previously served as Undersecretary of State at the Office of the Committee for European Integration and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
