Two-Day Workshop on Primary and Community Care Reform
The workshop exploring primary and community care reform in countries across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and China will take place on 7–8 May 2026 at the University of Warsaw. On behalf of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the event is coordinated by Prof. Anna Nicińska, Prof. Małgorzata Kalbarczyk and Dr Agata Kocia.
The workshop is intended for medical and health policy professionals, as well as scholars interested in discussing research findings and their implications for health care systems.
Over the course of two days, the following topics will be discussed:
- Long-term reform trajectories
- Digital transformation
- Capitation and meso-level organisations
- Intersectoral collaboration
- Vertical integration
- Workforce redesign.
The keynote lecture on the Polish experience of health care sector digitalization will be delivered by Piotr Włodarczyk, Director of the Analysis and Data Warehouse Department at the Centrum e-Zdrowia (e-Health Centre).
The meeting, titled “How can we bring about radical reform in primary and community care?”, is initiated by the European Health Policy Group. Organizational support is also provided by the Centrum e-Zdrowia, for which - on behalf of the event coordinators - we would like to express our sincere gratitude.
