Summary of the "7th Doctoral Workshop on the Economics of Digitization"

During the two-day international workshop (13-14 June this year), PhD students presented their research on the economics of digitization.

The thematic range of the workshop was broad and included, among others, regulatory and antitrust issues in digital markets, business strategies and pricing, economics of online platforms, as well as social, economic and political implications of digitalisation.

The performance by Aaron P. Kaye (University of Michigan) was recognised as this year's best presentation.

The guest lecture entitled 'Blockchain, tokens and platforms' was presented by Prof. Hanna Halaburda (New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business) - a graduate of WNE UW.

The conference was organised by Dr Łukasz Grzybowski (Department of Microeconomics, WNE UW).
