Quantitative Analysis (QA) – A Unique Doctoral Study Track

Since 2023, The Quantitative Analysis (QA) study track has been available within the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School (IDS), delivered jointly by the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics. This unique programme enables early-stage researchers to conduct interdisciplinary research across a range of academic fields using quantitative analytical methods.

Participants in the programme are eligible for an additional scholarship (after a positive mid-term evaluation of the PhD progress) and may apply for funding to attend a course at a renowned foreign university. The maximum amount of funding is PLN 15,000, which may cover course fees, as well as travel and accommodation expenses.

We invite applications from candidates holding degrees in the social sciences (particularly in economics) or in the mathematical and natural sciences.

A detailed description of the Quantitative Analysis study track is available at the following link: https://www.wne.uw.edu.pl/en/phd-student/programy/quantitative-analysis.
