Jubilee Edition of the WIEM Conference at the Faculty of Economic Sciences

The Warsaw International Economic Meeting (WIEM) is a distinguished academic conference organized annually by the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. This year, the conference celebrates its 20th anniversary edition.

As part of this jubilee edition, the keynote lecture will be delivered by Professor Alicia Adsera (Princeton University).

Each year, the event brings together researchers from around the world, working in all areas of economics, with special focus on macroeconomics, international trade, labour economics, education, microeconomics, industrial organization, finance and econometrics.

The conference especially encourages the participation of early-career researchers. As in previous years, the Best Paper Prize for Young Economists will be awarded to up to two authors of the most outstanding presentations.

The deadline for abstract submissions is May 9, 2025. Abstracts should be submitted via the submission form available on the conference website: http://www.wiem-conference.pl.
