Dr hab. Joanna Siwińska‑Gorzelak, Prof. ucz., awarded the Dekaban Liddle Fellowship

Dr hab. Joanna Siwińska‑Gorzelak, Prof. ucz., has been awarded a fellowship from the Dekaban‑Liddle Foundation. A research visit at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, will support her work on the project “Populism, Fiscal Dominance, and Fiscal‑Monetary Interactions in EU Economies”. Dr Joanna Siwińska‑Gorzelak is a member of the Digital Economy Lab UW (DELab UW), where she leads the Digital Transformation Challenges Research Lab. Enterprises, Work, Skills. She is also affiliated with the Department of Digital Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences.

Her research interests focus on macroeconomics and political economy. In her work, Prof. Siwińska‑Gorzelak examines, among other topics, fiscal policy, fiscal rules, and the impact of digitalisation and robotization on the labour market.

The Dekaban‑Liddle Foundation Fellowships stem from cooperation between the University of Glasgow, the University of Warsaw, and the PIASt Institute. Awarded since 1990, they aim to facilitate the exchange of scholars between universities in the United Kingdom and Poland.
