Professor Bartłomiej Rokicki awarded the professorial title

Professor Bartłomiej Rokicki is affiliated with the Department of Education and Labour Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. His research focuses on macroeconomic and regional aspects of the economy, with particular emphasis on analysing and evaluating the impact of public policies on economic growth. Prof. Rokicki’s work also includes macroeconomic data analysis and the application of econometric models to forecast and assess the effectiveness of government interventions in areas such as the labour market, fiscal policy, and regional development.

Prof. Rokicki is a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. He obtained his PhD in Economics in 2009 with a dissertation titled “The Role of Public Spending in the Economic Development of Voivodships.” He completed his habilitation in 2016, based on the monograph “Regional Differentiation of Salaries and Their Determinants – The Importance of Price Deflators, Market Potential, and the Unemployment Rate”.
