Welcome Days and Inauguration at the Faculty of Economic Sciences
With the upcoming academic year, we kindly invite all newly admitted students at the Faculty of Economic Sciences to participate in organizational meetings.
Below you can find a detailed schedule of the upcoming Welcome Days at the Faculty of Economic Sciences UW:
On 23th of September 2026, 11:30-13:00, a training session on the use of the University's IT study support system (USOS) will take place. We invite you to join us on campus (W. Siwiński Auditorium at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, 44/50 Długa Street) or remotely on the Zoom platform (link to a meeting was sent to students’ mail). The training will come in useful very soon, during the registration to classes via USOS platform that will take place the next day (24th of September).
On 30th of September 2026, 9:00-16:00, we invite you to W. Siwiński Auditorium at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (Długa 44/50) to participate in organisational meetings and mandatory trainings for students beginning studies at WNE. We present what’s awaiting you during this day below:

Furthermore, we would like to invite you to the official inauguration of the academic year 2026/2027 at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. The event will take place on 28th of September 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Adam Mickiewicz’s Aula in Auditorium Maximum, 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście (Main Campus of the University of Warsaw).
During the ceremony, we will hold the matriculation of Students beginning their studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Students who achieved the highest results in the admission process will receive symbolic student books.
We sincerely hope that we will see you all there and celebrate together the beginning of new academic year.
We would like to remind you that that regular classes begin on 1st of October. Class schedule is available on the individual USOSweb account.
Some additional information:
1. Based on the Rules of Study at UW all students need to have the University’s academic e-mail address. Students have to create it themselves using the following link: https://it.uw.edu.pl/en/uslugi/UslugiMojaPocztaGmailStudent/. Details will be provided during training about the USOS system.
2. General academic registration for OGUN courses (please pay attention to OGUN category that is required by your curriculum), PE classes and language courses for BA students is provided through separate registration procedure in USOS https://usosweb.uw.edu.pl/. We kindly remind you that Faculty of Economic Sciences students studying in English should register for courses in other language than English, mother and country of origin language. Please note that there is a schedule for registration available on the website. Please remember that it is necessary to take a test leveling language fluency at: https://kampus-jezyki.ckc.uw.edu.pl/enrol/index.php?id=734.
3. We would like to inform you that according to the study program, students are required to complete an Occupational Safety and Health course (OSH) in the winter semester. The course is carried out on the KAMPUS platform at https://kampus.uw.edu.pl/en.
