Short Research Description
My main research interest focuses on the functioning of online platforms and their impact on the economy and society. I consider my most important research achievements to be the empirical analyses I have conducted on the development of short-term rentals, exemplified by the Airbnb platform. My research has contributed to a better understanding of Airbnb's operations in the context of its impact on urban development and the tourism sector. I am also interested in using data science and text mining methods in research related to urban development, real estate markets, and gentrification.
