Warsaw Center for Public Finance Research was established in 2022. The primary motive for the establishment of the Centre is to formalise the activities of the existing network of people employed at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw and undertaking research in public finance.
The primary research areas of the Centre are:
tax policy
taxation (economic and legal)
fiscal rules, fiscal stability
fiscal decentralisation and local government finance.
