The headquarters of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw is located in a historic building from the second half of the 18th century, near the Ratusz-Arsenal Metro station at the edge of the Old Town, at ul. 44/50 Długa in Warsaw.

The original interiors have been renovated in recent years, and the research and teaching infrastructure of the Faculty now has modern buildings, equipped with multimedia aids and an expanded number of computer labs.

The Faculty building is adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities; it is equipped with ramps, platforms, and wide elevators. The rooms in Part A and Part B are also labelled with Braille, enabling the blind or visually impaired to navigate through the Faculty efficiently.

Faculty Library

The library collection includes scientific and didactic literature in the field of economic sciences, and related sciences and disciplines. High-quality library resources are collected in accordance with the study programmes and reflect the needs of the academic staff and Polish and foreign students.

There are four rooms in the library, which are equipped with 20 computer stations with Internet access and nearly 50 seats.

The library offers its users an online catalogue, with the possibility of ordering and reserving materials, as well as extending the deadlines for returning books. Faculty employees and students also have remote access to databases which offer electronic versions of journals and the latest economic and financial indicators.

Students of the Faculty have access to the resources of the Warsaw University Library (BUW) through a library account; BUW is one of the largest scientific libraries in Poland and includes databases of journals and electronic books such as Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Ultimate (EBSCO), Cambridge Journals, ProQuest, Passport, EMIS, Science Direct, eBook Academic Collection EBSCO, Dawsoner, JSTOR Open Access Books, Springer Link, Taylor & Francis eBooks, or Wiley Online Library.

IT facilities

At the Faculty of Economic Sciences, there are seven computer labs and nearly 200 computers, which are equipped with the specialised software used in classes, i.e., Office 2016 Professional, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional: VBasic, C++, programming languages R and Python, software packages for SAS - Viya, SAS Base, SAS EM Workstation, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, SAS OLAP, SAS DI Studio, SAS PCfiles, IBM SPSS, Matlab, MS SQL Server, Stata, Eviews, R, Gretl, Gams, Adonis, Aris, EwkaSQL, IBM Amos, Nlogit, Demetra, R-Cran, R-studio, and Maxima.

The Faculty also has a subscription to MSDN DreamSpark (now Azure Dev Tools for Teaching), which allows students to access the latest Microsoft software.

In addition, students of the Faculty have two extra rooms available for individual work, in which there are a total of 20 computers. All of the computers have high-speed Internet connections. There is also a wireless network consisting of 28 points, which supports Eduroam.
