About the Program

The CGMA Program is delivered within a CIMA-accredited degree programme offered by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Students who successfully complete the required courses at UW, are exempt from a number of CIMA examinations. Upon passing the external final assessment, they may obtain a certifiacte confirming the completion of the foundational level of the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accounting) Professional Qualification:

Conditions of participation

Bachelor Studies Programmes:
Join the program from the 3rd semester of your studies. After successfully completing all CIMA-required courses at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, you will be exempt from three CIMA examinations. You will only need to pass one external examination, BA2 – Fundamentals of Management Accounting. The BA2 exam is a two-hour computer-based assessment (Objective Test) available on demand throughout the year. Upon graduation, students receive the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and are entitled to use the Cert BA designation. Required courses for the Finance and Accounting programme (specialisation: Finance and Accounting of Enterprises) at Bachelor's level:
All exams in the program are in English and at least a B2 (CEFR upper intermediate) level is required. Participation in the program involves a registration fee and the cost of an external exam. |
