The Success in the International Trading Competition

The University of Warsaw team, under the expert guidance of Professor Robert Ślepaczuk, achieved 3rd place in the Rotman International Trading Competition held in Canada. The competition provides students from around the world with the opportunity to compete in challenges related to topics such as financial markets and investment.

The competition has been held for over 20 years and regularly features teams from universities ranked highly in the prestigious Shanghai Ranking. The Polish team has been participating in this event since 2018, consistently finishing among the top competitors.

We are pleased to highlight the significant involvement of students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences in the competition team. This remarkable achievement is the result of months of dedicated preparation, combined with an exceptional command of knowledge in quantitative finance, financial engineering, and related fields.

We sincerely congratulate on this accomplishment and express our gratitude to both Professor Robert Ślepaczuk and the student team for their commitment and hard work. The team was also supported by Maciej Wysocki, a PhD student from the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw.
