Professor Katarzyna Kopczewska Receives Professorial Nomination

Professor Katarzyna Kopczewska, associated with the Department of Data Science at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, in her research focuses on modeling the significance of location for economic, social, and environmental phenomena, as well as developing quantitative methods. Her scientific interests include urban and regional economics, statistical learning methods, spatial econometrics, and machine learning. Moreover, prof. Kopczewska is affiliated with the Spatial Warsaw research center.

Professor Kopczewska is the author of numerous scientific publications, including books published by prestigious houses such as Oxford University Press and Routledge. For her contribution to the development of science, she was honored by the President of the Statistics Poland (GUS) with the Honorary Badge of Merit for Statistics of the Republic of Poland.
