Inauguration of the Academic Year 2023/2024

We were honoured by the presence of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, and the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Human Resources, Prof. Sambor Grucza, during the Inauguration. Traditionally, during the event the University of Warsaw Choir was also present.

The participants of the Inauguration were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Gabriela Grotkowska, wishing them success and assuring them of the support of the Faculty and the University of Warsaw.

The Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dominika Gadowska-dos Santos, Ph.D. also welcomed the participants in the new Academic Year. Symbolic student’s indexes were awarded to students who had qualified for first- and second-level studies with the best results.

The Inauguration Lecture was given by prof. Paweł Kaczmarczyk (Department of Population Economics and Demography) – Centre of Migration Research, University of Warsaw.
