"Academic development and campus life" – 30.09 – 01.10. 2024

On September 30th – October 1st, 2024, as part of the adaptation days for newly admitted students, an “International Day” was organized under the theme "Academic development and campus life."

The international event aimed at promoting various activities at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw and the University as a whole, directed towards international students. An integral part of the event included soft skills workshops.

In the first part of the event, a presentation was given about places such as the Faculty’s Welcome Center and the University’s Welcome Point, as well as Polonicum – a place where international students can take, among other things, Polish language courses. The presentation also covered the offer of free legal and psychological counseling available at the Faculty of Economic Sciences as part of the NAWA Project "Let’s make together economics in Warsaw 2.0."

During the second part, students had the opportunity to take part in workshops designed to help them adapt to student life. They could learn about time management techniques, goal setting, motivation, and how to plan their studies and future career.
