The 2nd Modern Finance Conference at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, September 7-9, 2025

The event aims to provide a platform for the exchange of research experiences, dissemination of cutting-edge research results, innovative ideas and new approaches in all areas of finance. The conference is organized by the Modern Finance Institute, Poznań University of Economics and Business, and the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. The first edition gathered over 150 participants from 36 countries, who listened to a total of 130 papers.

At this edition, the keynote address will be delivered by Professor Iftekhar Hassan from the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Additionally, a workshop on publishing in top academic journals will be hosted by Professor Peter G. Szilagyi from EDHEC Business School.

The conference will take place on September 7-9, 2025, and will be organized in a hybrid format, allowing both on-site and remote participation.

Paper submissions will be accepted until June 30, 2025, through the submission system (available via the link: https://mfc2.eventsadmin.com/Home/Welcome).

Participation in the conference for researchers from the Faculty of Economic Sciences with accepted papers is free of charge.
