2nd Edition of the Ph.D. Summer School in Economics

The upcoming edition will be devoted to new developments in Text Mining and Machine Learning mainly with Applications to Macroeconomics and Finance.

The keynote presentations will be delivered by Professor Michael McMahon (University of Oxford) and Professor Sophia Kazinnik (Stanford University).

The Ph.D. Summer School offers an opportunity to participate in inspiring lectures and present one’s own research papers. The event, organized in cooperation with The Graduate Center of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), will be held from September 22 to 26, 2025, at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.

We invite applications from both Ph.D. students and post-doctoral researchers (within five years of graduation).

The application deadline has been extended to April 30, 2025.
