My primary research areas are the conditions and consequences of economic migration, migration of highly educated individuals, and the relationship between migration and labor markets as well as social security systems. Additionally, I focus on migration policies and the methodology of migration studies (with respect to migration topics), and more broadly on demography, labor market economics, and selected aspects of international economics.
