„From research to policy” Lecture – June 10, 2025

Professor Martin Andersson from the Blekinge Institute of Technology and researcher at the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum will deliver a lecture entitled „From research to policy”.

Drawing on years of experience of writing policy reports, participation in various policy advisory boards and other policy-related work, the lecture reflects on how researchers can engage with policy and why doing so matters. Part of the lecture is based on professor Martin Andersson's experiences of serving as chairman of the Malmö Growth Comission – a project focused on policy for inclusive and sustainable city growth in Malmö (Sweden's third largest city). The work with the commission spanned over two years and involved representatives from academia, industry, civil society as well as public policy officials.
