University of Warsaw Team in the Econometric Game 2026 Finals
The team-comprising Jakub Bandurski, Monika Kot, and Marta Zawada representing the Faculty of Economic Sciences, and Kacper Cierlik from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw-competed against 30 teams from leading universities worldwide (including Cambridge, Oxford, and the Sorbonne).
The four-person teams, consisting of students of econometrics and related fields, were tasked with conducting an econometric case study analysis. The teams that best handled the tasks advanced to the next stage. There, they solved further problems and presented their results to a judging panel.
The University of Warsaw team once again ranked among the competition's top performers. The team's academic supervisor was Dr. Marcin Chlebus (Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, Department of Data Science).
Congratulations!
