The project: Environmental Consciousness: A Behavioral Rebound Effect "ENCON", submitted by a consortium in which the University of Warsaw is a participant, received funding in the 4th EU-LAC Joint Call in STI 2022

In this call, ENCON is funded for 36 months (3 Years) under the thematic field of GLOBAL CHALLENGES “Global Challenges I - Interactions and integration between the climate science, Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and other communities”. In addition to the research objective, it is also intended to enable the establishment of long-term and multilateral scientific cooperation between scientists from Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

On the Polish side, the project is carried out by Umair Ashraf Rana, Ph.D. (Principal Investigator) and Bartłomiej Dessoulavy-Śliwiński, Ph.D. (Co-PI). Other partners are Universidad Loyola (Spain), Universidad de la República (Uruguay), and Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic).
