The project “Effects of Globalization and Financial Inclusion on Energy Intensity “ENINT” with National Science Centre funding in POLONEZ BIS 2 call.

We are pleased to inform you about the funding for Syed Anees Haider Zaidi, Ph.D. from Pakistan for the realisation of the project within the National Science Centre POLONEZ BIS 2 call.

The project “Effects of Globalization and Financial Inclusion on Energy Intensity “ENINT” will be realised at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw for 24 months (2 years).

The Mentor in this project is Umair Ashraf Rana, Ph.D. from the Department of Management and Information Technology.

The aim of the project: Effects of Globalization and Financial Inclusion on Energy Intensity “ENINT” is to apprehend the drivers of energy intensity in emerging countries. To accomplish this objective, three studies are designed in the context of the emerging world. This study aims at probing the technique, composition, and technique effect of economic growth on energy intensity. The possible effect of energy prices and trade is considered in the nexus for avoiding omitted bias. The research results will aid policymakers to suggest appropriate energy policies for a sustainable energy future in emerging countries.

Detailed information about the project is available on the National Science Centre’s website.

POLONEZ BIS is co-financed by the European Commission (EC) and the National Science Center (NCN) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant.
