Professor Russell Cooper from the European University Institute will visit the Faculty of Economic Sciences on January 22 - January 25, 2024.

He will give a short course on the simulated method of moments with applications to models with heterogeneous households and firms.

Classes will be held:

• on Monday, January 22 at 11-13, room A307
• and on Thursday, January 25 at 9-13, room B105.

The course is aimed at students in master's and doctoral programs and faculty members interested in quantitative methods in macroeconomics.

Professor Cooper will also meet with students interested in applying to master's and doctoral programs in economics at the European University Institute. The meeting will be on Tuesday, January 23 at 15-16 in room A307.
