Geoff Gottlieb, Representative of the International Monetary Fund, to Deliver a Lecture at the Faculty of Economic Sciences

The open lecture entitled „Macroeconomics at Work: Bridging Theory and Practice” will be delivered as part of macroeconomics classes. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how macroeconomic theory is applied in practice—particularly in the decision-making processes of governments and international institutions.

During the lecture, guest speaker Geoff Gottlieb, IMF Senior Regional Representative for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, will discuss the Fund’s key areas of activity, illustrating them with specific examples from various countries.

We cordially invite you to attend on May 19, 2025, at 15:00. The meeting will take place in Prof. Włodzimierz Siwiński Auditorium (Auditorium A) at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.
