We stand in solidarity with the Turkish and Syrian communities

The Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences prof. Gabriela Grotkowska, the Faculty Council and the entire community of the Faculty unites with the Faculty Employees and Students coming from Turkey and Syria - affected by the earthquake in recent days.

The tremors left more than four thousand people dead and nearly 20 thousand injured.

Expressing solidarity with those affected by the earthquake, we encourage you to take part in an items collection. It will be held at our Faculty until 10 February, after which the collected materials will be handed over to the Turkish Embassy in Poland (the coordinator of the action). Please bring the necessary items, which are:

- warm clothing (for children and adults): gloves, scarves, hats, socks,

- blankets,

- bedding,

- sleeping bags,

- thermoses,

- torches,

- power banks,

- chemical and hygiene items,

- food (with a long expiry date).
