The First Polish Science Gala organised by The Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń which took place on 19th February 2020 was held to mark the first national Science Day. During the event two scientists from The Faculty of Economic Sciences University of Warsaw were granted awards of Minister of Science and Higher Education.

On October 1st 2022 Anna Janicka, Ph.D. has been appointed Plenipotentiary for equality at the Faculty of Economic Sciences by the Dean of the Faculty.

During the meeting Illia Baranochnikov and prof. Robert Ślepaczuk will present the research „A comparison of LSTM and GRU architectures with novel walk-forward approach to algorithmic investment strategy”.

During the meeting Daisuke Adachi (Aarhus University) will present the research „Robots on Sale: The Effect of Investment Promotion on Robot Adoption and Employment”.

During the meeting Przemysław Grądzki student of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw and prof. Piotr Wójcik from the Department of Quantitative Finance of the Faculty will present their research.

During the coming seminar organised by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Labour Market and Family Dynamics (LabFam) Rebecca Sear, Ph.D. (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) will present her research.
