WNE Student awarded in the Warsaw Stock Exchange contest for the best BA thesis

The Warsaw Stock Exchange presented the winners of the sixth edition of the competition for the best master's and bachelor's thesis. The aim of the competition is to promote knowledge about the capital market, its institutions and modern financial instruments.
The award for the best BA thesis was given to Paulina Bancerz, a Master's student at the "Finance and Accounting” program offered by the Faculty of Economic Sciences. The winning paper "Information asymmetry and corporate cash holding " was defended at the bachelor program "Finance, investment and accounting" at our Faculty.
In the justification, the Competition’s Jury emphasized that the prize was awarded for a proper compilation of information asymmetry in economic theory and for examining the phenomenon of information’s asymmetry in the context of liquidity reserves held in joint-stock companies.
The thesis was written under the scientific direction of Ph.D. Anna Białek-Jaworska
