Organization of remote classes at the Faculty
15 March 2020
Lecturers of the Faculty are getting closer to launching massive online classes. We assumed that at WNE, probably all classes can be conducted remotely (because we do not have laboratories, experiments, field classes, etc.). The lecturers received information on the organization of remote teaching.
Lecturers will contact students using email addresses at USOS and will indicate how and using which platform the classes will be conducted. These may include Moodle, MS Teams, Webex, Google Classroom etc. We hope that all these tools will be intuitive to use.
If in the next few days you do not receive any information from the lecturer, please contact the lecturer - remember that technology can be unreliable. In case the lecturer does not contact you or reply to e-mails, please contact me, I will try to solve the issue.
We have adopted a strategy that virtual classes are the full equivalent of full-time classes. We do not assume that after returning to the real classrooms we will rework this material again. There may not be time for this. It's a challenge for you to learn content in a different way than before.
The Student Union and I will try to solve various problems that we will face - please inform us about them.
Greetings, wishing you health
