Mgr Ewa Zawojska beneficiarie of 2018 Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) START Scholarship.
The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has granted START stipends for the 26th time to the most talented young scientists from all over Poland. This year the money will go to 100 young researchers chosen among 890 applicants.
Ewa Zawojska is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw in the Chair of Microeconomics. Her research interests focus on contingent valuation methods used for assessing values of public goods. In her doctoral thesis, Ewa investigates the issue of incentive compatibility of valuation methods based on stated preferences. Her research papers have been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, the Science of the Total Environment and the Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy, among others. Ewa has participated in research stays at several academic institutions abroad, including the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, USA, and the Clark University in Worcester, MA, USA as a Fulbright scholar.
