The Faculty of Economic Sciences is the leading institution in Poland according to RePEc
The Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw is ranked as the number one Polish economic research and education centre, according to RePEc. The authors classified at the top of the RePEc list include several members of our Faculty: prof. Oded Stark (in the first place), prof. Andrzej Cieślik, dr Michał Krawczyk, dr Joanna Tyrowicz, prof. Tomasz Żylicz, dr Jan Hagemejer, prof. Mieczysław Socha, dr Maciej Jakubowski, dr Jerzy Mycielski, dr Olga Kiuila, dr Jan Fałkowski, dr Leszek Morawski and dr Mikołaj Czajkowski.
A+ for research at Faculty of Economic Sciences
Faculty of Economic Sciences at University of Warsaw obtained the highest award given to exceptional research institutions in Poland. Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education after comprehensive assessment of the quality of research and development decided in its annual ranking that WNE is a leading Polish research unit in its field of study (grading scale: A+, A, B, C).
The Ministry has taken under consideration: scientific potential, impact factor of publications and projects, effects of scientific activities. Ministry, therefore, appreciated both the quantity and quality of publications.
