OSH training for students

I would like to inform you that OSH training for students starting their studies at the University of Warsaw in the academic year 2017/2018 will be conducted through the General University E-learning Platform (COME).
The training program and the test will be available on the COME platform from 6 November 2017 to 9 February 2018. Re-take will be available from 2 March 2018 to 8 March 2018. Additional deadlines other than those mentioned above are not foreseen.
The training will be completed with a test (26 closed-ended questions). The test is passed if 14 correct answers are given. Your results will automatically be sent to the USOS system after the training rounds have been completed.
Students with a document confirming the credit of the subject “Occupational Safety and Health” from another higher education institution or another faculty of the University of Warsaw will have a credit. The credit can not be older than from the academic year 2013/2014. The student should inform the Students’ Office or Ms Dorota Olejarka from OSH Inspectorate of the credit from another higher education institution or faculty of the University of Warsaw.
Students commencing second-cycle studies who have passed the OSH test at the first-cycle studies (not older than from the academic year 2013/2014) are not obliged to participate in the OSH training.
Certificates of OSH training from workplaces do not qualify to get training pass at the University of Warsaw.
In case of failure to pass the test, re-take will be possible from 1 September 2018 to 15 September 2018. Re-take is associated with 200 PLN fee. (Appendix no 31 to the Ordinance no 32 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 31 March 2017 on payments for educational services for polish citizens and foreign nationals studying on conditions for polish citizens in the academic year 2017/2018). The fee is paid by individual transfer to the bank account generated in the USOS system. Proof of payment must be sent to Ms Dorota Olejarka to receive USOS credit.
